CAMILLE LOPEZ-MOLINA studied voice at the University of the Philippines College of Music. She obtained her Professional Diploma in Music, majoring in Opera Studies, from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 1996. She then proceeded to Vienna, Austria where she studied Gesang until 2001 at the Konservatorium der Stadt Wien under Prof. Marija Sklad-Sauer and Prof. Julia Conwell. Camille is a three-time ALIW AWARDEE (2009, 2010 and 2011) for Best Female Classical Performer. At present, she is a member of the Voice Faculties of St. Scholastica’s College School of Music and the University of the Philippines College of Music. She is also the musical director and conductor of the SSS Choral Society and the Viva Voce Ensemble, a group composed of young classical singers. She has been a regular guest artist in many special events in Santuario de San Antonio. Camille on YouTube A native of Roxas City, Capiz, CLEMENT ACEVEDO, has performed in the Philippines, China and the United States, in notable venues such as Merkin Hall in New York and the Cultural Center of the Philippines. He won first prize in the 2004 National Music Competition for Young Artists (NAMCYA) and participated as a semi-finalist in the 2009 Heida Hermanns International Piano Competition. He was featured as a concerto soloist with the Metro Manila Concert Orchestra, University of Santo Tomas Symphony, and James Madison University Symphony Orchestra. As a chamber musician, he has performed at the Shenandoah Bach Festival in Harrisonburg, VA, Staunton Music Festival and the Chopin Symposium in Weston, MA. He has worked for numerous opera productions including La bohème by Puccini, Così fan tutte by Mozart, and Cendrillon by Massenet. He earned his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of the Philippines, Masters in Piano Performance from Temple University, Masters in Piano Pedagogy from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance, Pedagogy and Literature from James Madison University. He coordinated the piano area at Eastern Mennonite University and taught piano, music history and music appreciation classes there. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Music and Director of the Center for Heritage and Indigenous Cultures under the Office of Research & Global Relations at the University of San Agustin in Iloilo City. Clement on YouTube Praised for his emotional energy and technical finesse, Oliver Salonga has performed in the concert halls of the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Italy, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Philippines, Australia, and China. He gave his solo debut recital at the age of 11 performing Chopin Piano Concerto No.1 and gained national recognition when he won the Philippines’ National Music Competition for Young Artists twice in 1998 and in 2001. Since then, he has given solo recitals, chamber music collaboration, and appearances with orchestra in three continents. Dr. Salonga has won prizes and accolades in the following prestigious competitions: 2008 Florida International Piano Competition, 2010 Hilton Head International Piano Competition, and 2011 Scottish International Piano Competition. He also won the Gold Medal at the 2010 Jeonju International Piano Competition in South Korea. Oliver Salonga received his Artist Diploma and Master of Music in Piano Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where he was awarded the Zellen Piano Prize. He also received his Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance from the University of Southern California. Oliver has received guidance from outstanding pianists, such as Dr. Angela Cholakian, Jerome Lowenthal, Robert McDonald, John O’Connor, John Perry, Sergei Babayan, Alexei Kornienko, Norman Krieger, Daniel Pollck, Roberta Rust, and Antonio Pompa-Baldi. Oliver Salonga has performed with Jeonju Symphony, Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra, and Sydney Symphony Orchestra to name a few. His solo performances were radio broadcasted and live streamed at Hilton Head Classical Radio Station, WXEL 90.7, DZFE 98.7 and Dulwich College, UK. Currently, Dr. Oliver Salonga is holding teaching positions in piano, pre-college level and university level, at Soochow University Conservatory of Music and at FACEArt Institute of Music in Shanghai. His students have won first prizes in New York International Music Competition, Paris and London Grand Prize, China International Franz Liszt Competition, Singapore International Youth Competition and Hong Kong International Competition and has been admitted to finest musical institution such as the Juilliard School of Music. |

A composer and pianist. He was born in Iloilo City on October 9, 1965. His father Aniceto P. Muyuela was the registrar of De Paul College, and his mother Rosario A. Muyuela was a comptroller also at De Paul College. His mother’s first cousin Fr. Joaquin Dioso was a composer of church music in Pandan, Antique. He earned his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of San Agustin (USA) Conservatory of Music (Iloilo), the only conservatory in Western Visayas; he studied piano with Salvacion S. Jardenil. Later, he would commute from Iloilo to Manila every weekend to take classes at Santa Isabel College towards the Master of Music degree, which he completed in 2015. He is currently a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at St. Paul’s University (Manila). He has a Bachelor of Philosophy degree from Adamson University (Manila); while there he took special piano classes with Dina Reyes. He teaches piano and counterpoint at the University of San Agustin and serves as the academic supervisor of the Conservatory of Music. He is also the music director of Coro Liturgico Agustino, one of the university choirs. With the university’s support, he established the Piano Teachers’ Guild of the Philippines (PTGP) Panay Chapter last 2018. Since 2017, he has served as the music director of the Bombo Music Festival, an annual song-writing contest which has become national in scope since 2019. He orchestrates the finalists’ songs and conducts the Bombo Symphony Orchestra during the final concert. As a church musician, he serves as the conductor/pianist for the Santa Maria Parish (Chinese Filipino community), San Jose Parish, Jaro Metropolitan Cathedral, Carmelite Monastery, and Villa Parish. As a composer, he is mainly known for his choral works, such as Dili Kita Malimutan, a choral suite setting of a Magdalena Jalandoni poem. He has composed music for theater as well, among these are the NCCA grant-awarded Panayanon (co-composed with Beny Castillon), a work by Leoncio Deriada which is based on the epics of Panay; Tantanan nga Bato, by Alice Tan-Gonzalez, an experimental musical that employs chanting, vocables and percussion; Basura Busters, a musical about ecological waste management; The Restless Pilgrim, a musical on the life of St. Augustine (co-composed with Beny Castillon); and Hope Vale, a three-act musical on the life of the founders of Central Philippine University (CPU). He has collaborated with the Kabayao Foundation and served as the music director of several productions, including My Fair Lady, Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, and Mozart’s Requiem. He is a highly sought-after adjudicator in both the local and regional levels, such as competitions by the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) and Iloilo City’s Dinagyang, and is regularly invited as a workshop speaker for the Special Program for the Arts (SPA). His awards include: Centennial Award (Assumption Iloilo), Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award in the Field of Arts and Culture (University of San Agustin), and Diamond Jubilee Award (Colegio de las Hijas de Jesus). baritone, is a Professor of Voice and the Cultural Liaison Officer of Santa Isabel College Conservatory of Music in Manila. He finished his Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance at Elisabeth University of Music in Hiroshima Japan where he was chosen as the best Recitalist for the year 2014. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Voice from Santa Isabel College Conservatory of Music in 2008. Mr. Joseleo C. Logdat launched the “Musika sa Isla” aiming to promote the Classical Music in the provinces. He won the 2nd prize (Opera Category) at 14th Osaka International Music Competition. He is an awardee of the 2013 Ani ng Dangal (Harvest of Honors) for Music. He is also a Grand Prix Winner of the 6th Yokohama International Music Competition (2012) where he also won the 1st place in the Professional Voice Category at Yokohama, Japan. He received the Gold Medal Award for the Performing Arts from Santa Isabel College, Manila. He is also the Grand Prize Winner of the “Mga Awiting Pilipino” (Philippine Art Song) Vocal Competition (2007). Mr. Joseleo C. Logdat perform with the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra performing excerpts from Filipino Operas, “Takayama Ukon and Spolarium” (2008). He already worked with the numerous conductors such as Kuzufumi Yamashita, Hiroyuki Odano, Kyosuke Matsushita, Helen Quach, Oscar Yatco, Chino Toledo, Arturo Molina, Gerard Salonga, Dr. Raul Navarro, Gabby San Pedro- Rojas and Crisancti Macazo. He also sung with these orchestras namely Hiroshima Symphony Orchestra, Elisabeth University of Music Orchestra, Phil. Philharmonic Orchestra, Metro Manila Community Orchestra, Angono National Symphonic Band, Santa Isabel College Chamber Orchestra and the ABS CBN Philharmonic Orchestra. He has performed in Operas such as Magic Flute (Japan), Noli Me Tangere (Phil.), La Boheme (Phil.) I Pagliacci (Phil.), Spolarium (Phil.), Mayo Bisperas ng Liwanag (Phil.), and Why Flowers Bloom in May (Phil.). He also performed as soloist in various oratorios, Mozart’s Coronation Mass, Bach’s Christmas Oratorio, and Mendelsshon’s Elijah. He was also featured soloists of Beethoven’s Chorale Fantasy and the 9th Symphony. He was also invited by the Phil. General Consulate in Osaka International House, Japan for their Tribute Concert for Two Great Filipino Composers Felipe de Leon and Francisco Santiago together with Eri Yoshida, Japanese Soprano and Dr. Raul Navarro as pianist. Mr. Joseleo C. Logdat studied with Hiroharu Orikawa, Masako Katsura, Victoria Rapanan, Fides Asencio- Cuyugan and a protégé of Filipino Bass-Baritone, Gamaliel Viray. He is associated with Santa Isabel College Conservatory of Music as Faculty for Voice and Music Sciences. He is also an artist of Musika Klasika, Phil. Opera Company, Music Theater Foundation and The Sinagtala Management. He is also one of the founder of Jovita Fuentes Vocal Competition and currently the artistic director and the founder of the Gamaliel Viray Festival. He is now continuing his project in Santa Isabel College Conservatory of Music “The Conservatory’s Annual Concert Season in which he also founded last 2011 to enhance the music appreciation of students and to inspire them. Mr. Joseleo C. Logdat recently toured Sydney, Canberra, and Melbourne for his Australian Tour as Solo Artist invited by the Philippine Embassy and sponsored by the Philippine National Commission for Cultural and Arts. He just concluded his performances of a Filipino Sarswela “Walang Sugat” (No wound) as Tenyong the title role last January 31, 2016. Last August 2016 he went to Vienna Austria for a competition. He is set to have a recital in Hiroshima City Japan this March 2017. He made a debut of a full production of Gianni Schichi here in the Philippines playing Marco. |
